Mary Sherlach: On December 22nd, 2013 the Mary Sherlach playground was opened in Roxbury, New York. The playground was built in honor of Mary Sherlach, school psychologist at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The playground includes Mary’s alma mater SUNY- Cortland and is red and green to resemble red roses, her favorite flower.

Caroline Previdi: The Caroline Previdi Playground was opened on September 28th, 2013 in Island Park, New York. Caroline was a 6 year old at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Caroline’s playground is ensconced in her favorite color pink and was decorated in bows, always found in Caroline’s hair.

Charlie Fernandez: An all-abilities playground with special emphasis on the visually impaired was built at Saddlewood Elementary School, Colonie, NY in memory of Charlie Fernandez who LOVED playgrounds. At age 5, Charlie was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma but that never stopped her from doing anything she wanted to do even when it took her eyesight.

Noah Pozner: The Noah Pozner Playground was opened on July 27th, 2014 in East Rockaway, New York. Noah was a student at Sandy Hook Elementary. The playground has a blue, white and yellow nautical theme. Noah loved Star Wars, which is displayed on the flag at the playground.
