March/April 2017: We will be honoring the life of Victoria McGrath at the Boys and Girls Club in Dorchester, MA. Victoria McGrath was a survivor of the Boston Marathon Bombing, but was later taken much too soon in a car accident while in Dubai. Victoria’s spirit and love of life will continue on in her new playground. The truck delivery of the playground will be March 30th with the volunteer build day to be on March 31st, 2017. The ribbon cutting will take place late morning on April 2nd, 2017, with an exact time TBD. The Boys and Girls Club is located at 35 Deer Street in Dorchester, MA.
May 2017: Ryanne Cara Playground will be built in Whispering Willows Park in Conyngham, PA. Ryanne passed away suddenly on December 16th, 2015 at the young age of 4. Ryanne and her family enjoyed spending time at the playground at the Whispering Willows Park. Her family would like to install a new playground at the park in her memory.
June 2017: Jacob Noble lost his life long battle with cerebral palsy and lungs that struggled to function his entire life. The Orillia teenager lit up a room even as he battled the myriad medical challenges that dogged him for nearly 16 years. A playground built to honor Jacob will be built in Orillia, Ontario, Canada and will be led by Jacob’s younger brother and sister, Kaden and Kayleigh.
